WAKE
UP!
Who are you?
Do you really know?
What have you done today to make the world right for you?
What will you do at some point today to uplift your spirit
and the spirits of those around you?
It's worth every moment it takes to discover who you really are,
your talents, your unique abilities and strengths,
and then face the world with a renewed passion for life,
giving to others from your heart because you truly care,
instead of from lip service because you feel you have to.
Discover who you are
and then be true to yourself.
It's not being selfish,
it's being honest.
Jace Carlton
WALLS
How will you ever know what might be found
until you let the walls come tumbling down?
If there's any hope for love at all
some walls must fall.
From the song
"Walls"

Mary Ann Kennedy, Pamela Rose and Randy Sharp
REAL WEALTH
Measure
wealth not by the things you have,
but
by the things you have for which you would not take money.

WHAT?
What excites you?
What turns on your enthusiasm more than anything else?
What raises the level of passion in you until you're ready to burst?
What means more to you than anything else?
(Now, I'm not talking about WHO,
so stick with the WHAT, ok?)
What obstacles are in your way?
Are they real or imaginary?
So, what is
it that pushes all of your
buttons
and makes you feel so alive?
Are
you doing it?
If not ... you're not fulfilling your potential
or living the life you were destined to live.
What are you waiting for?
Jace Carlton
WHAT
IF?
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS
what it's all about?
WHAT
MATTERS MOST
Today is the most important thing in life.
It comes into us at midnight very clean.
It's perfect when it arrives
and it puts itself in our hands.
It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.

WHEN?
When will you see how special you really are?
When will you see how much you mean to someone else?
When will you discover the talents that lie hidden
just waiting to be uncovered,
that will bless your life and others, too?
When will you begin to imagine
just how wonderful your smile is?
And how your smile can warm someone's heart.
When will you realize that just by truly listening
you've said so much to someone
who needs so desperately to share what's in their heart.
When will you see how comforting your touch is to someone
who's lonely and just needs a friend?
A friend ... someone like you.
The someone only you can be.
When?
Well ... why not now?!

WHERE?
Where are the dreams you once dreamed?
Where's the wonder you used to feel
about life and about love?
Where's the passion that used to drive
everything you cared about?
Where ARE all of these things?
They're still inside you.
You never really lost them.
Not yet, anyway.
Look closely ... deep inside your heart.
Breathe deep ... and breathe life back into
those dreams, those wonders, those passions.
If you don't do it now
you could lose them forever.
Is that what you REALLY want?
I didn't think so.

WHISPERS
You've gotta roll with the punches
You've gotta aim to hit the mark
You've gotta follow your hunches
And try to finish what you start
And when you come to the crossroads
And you're deciding in the dark
You've gotta listen to the whisper of your heart.
from the song
"The Whisper Of Your Heart"
by
Chuck Cannon
WHO?
Who do you know
who deserves everything they desire that's good.
Who do you know
who is alive with possibilities?
Who do you know
who already possesses everything they need to achieve
the desires of their heart?
Who do you know
who makes the world a better place
just by being themselves?
Who do you know
who's touched lives, hearts and spirits
and lifted them up with love in times of need?
Who do you know
who's already made a big difference in the world
and yet probably doesn't even realize it?
Who needs to look in a mirror to see the truth about themselves?

WHO AM I TO BE?
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
"Who am I to be - brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a Child of God!
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so small
that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in us, it's in everyone!
As we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
Marianne Williamson
WHO ARE YOU?
Never let the competition
define you.
Instead, you have to define yourself
based on a point of view you care deeply about.

WILLPOWER
What you have to do and
the way you have to do it
is incredibly simple.
Whether you are willing to do it ... that's another matter.

Technique and ability alone do not get you to the top;
it is the will power that is most important.
This will power you cannot buy with money or be given by others ...
it rises from your heart.

WISDOM
I used to say
that God is my
co-pilot,
but then I got smart and switched seats.
Jace Carlton
We do not
receive wisdom, we must discover it for ourselves,
after a journey through the wilderness
which no one else can make for us, which no one can spare us,
for our wisdom is the point of view
from which we come at last to regard the world.

A MARVELOUS WORK AND A WONDER
People travel to wonder at the heights of a mountain,
at the huge waves of the sea,
at the long courses of the rivers,
at the vast compass of the ocean,
at the circular motion of the stars;
and they pass by themselves without wondering.

WORTH
A THOUSAND WORDS !
This is a
great photo.
We can't
assume that
just because dogs don't speak English that they don't know what's going
on.
This
photograph shows a
red Doberman kissing an exhausted fireman.
He had just saved her from a fire in her house,
rescuing her by carrying her out of the house into her front yard,
while he continued to fight the fire.
She is pregnant.
The firefighter was afraid of her at first, because he had never been
around a Doberman before.
When he finally got done putting the fire out, he sat down to
catch his breath and rest.
A photographer from the Charlotte, North Carolina newspaper, "The
Observer,"
noticed this red Doberman in the distance looking at the fireman.
He saw her walking straight toward the fireman and wondered what she
was going to do.
As he raised his camera,
she came up to the tired man who had saved her life and the lives of
her babies, and kissed him,
when the photographer snapped this photograph.
